Remote Identification (Remote ID)

Remote ID for drones acts like a digital license plate. It's a system designed to provide identification and location information of drones in flight to authorities and other interested parties. This information typically includes the drone's ID, its position, altitude, and the takeoff location, as well as the location of the drone's operator. The implementation of Remote ID aims to enhance safety, security, and privacy in the airspace by making it easier to monitor and manage drone traffic, and it's becoming a standard requirement for drone operations in many regions.

The following popular drones/unmanned aircraft (organized by manufacturer) have Remote ID included. If your device is listed then your device transmits the appropriate data to satisfy the FAA’s Remote ID rule. Note that you may need to turn this feature on within your device software to enable it.
